The MaxxCAT™ EX-Series of enterprise search appliances is a scalable solution for larger organizations that require advanced features like High Availability, Clustering and database or application integration. MaxxCAT's state of the art integrated hardware and software solution provides unmatched performance at a very attractive price point of $8,995 for an entry level server capable of indexing millions of documents at 1,270 MB/minute and executing a blazing 12,500 Queries per Minute (QPM).
High Performance
The EX-series of appliances is highly configurable in terms of storage, performance and clustering. Multiple nodes can be connected together for extreme and web-scale type applications. The entry level appliance is a 2U form factor unit with 1TB of mirrored RAID storage that can be expanded to meet customers requirements. And optional Turbo kit can boost the performance of the appliance to amazing new levels.
Powerful Indexing
In addition to indexing conventional data sources like websites, file systems and intranets, the MaxxCAT™, by virtue of its open architecture and standard connectors, is able to connect to databases, applications, and other appliances. Using the MaxxCAT™ BobCAT SQL connector, customers can combine data from multiple databases, websites and file systems into a seamless enterprise search solution. A MaxxCAT™ can literally connect to and index anything using the open Lynx Connector, which gives integrators, developers and third party developers kernel level access to the MaxxCAT™ engine.
