The exterior casing of the SB-250 offers a simplistic design that is easily adaptable for all users, but its interior workings make it a beast when it comes to performing lightning-fast queries of large quantities of data.
The SB-250 has a storage capacity of 240GB and is capable of queries at speeds up to 2,500 queries per minute (QPM). It can handle data in multiple file types including HTML, MySQL, SQLserver, Oracle, XML, Office and PDF.
The cost of the SB-250 is significantly lower than that of the competition.s comparable enterprise search engine hardware offerings, and provides lifetime perpetual use with no addition fees. Additionally, in an industry first, the SB-250 also has an unlimited number of maximum searchable documents along with third-party site crawling capability.
EX-5000 Enterprise Search Engine Hardware
The EX-5000 is optimized for large-scale corporations and comes in six different model types. All of the basic design and usage features that work so well with the SB-250 are available with the EX-5000. The EX-5000 builds on the already successful principles of the small-business-tailored SB-250, but comes with a heftier amount of storage and performance specs in addition to a few added advanced features.
The EX-5000 comes with a whopping 1-4TB of storage space and can perform queries at an amazing 12,500 QPM. 80 simultaneous crawls can be handled at once with this highly optimized piece of enterprise search engine hardware, and the Ex-5000 can handle all of the same file types as the SB-250.
In addition to third-party site crawling, an unlimited number of maximum searchable documents and lifetime perpetual use, the EX-5000 also has advanced features not found on the entry-level SB-250. The EX-series of enterprise search hardware devices can find all documents with semantic fingerprinting, slice query returns into facets and filter data into subsets.
